1 – 6 years

A continuation of the nursery in Dafz, We believe in a learning-through-play structure and follow the UK’s Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum which enables children to explore our classrooms and take part in an assortment of activities such as messy play, role-play, and circle and carpet time. We adhere to a strict Child Health and Safety policy along with having two registered nurses on-site.

Every month, we explore new topics and encourage children to discover what activities they like the most. During the hot summer months when going outside is difficult, we have a big indoor jungle gym that children can enjoy! The Hummingbird nursery also boasts an outdoor area where the children can enjoy exploring sand, soil, and water. We also look after our own garden!

We welcome children between 1 and 6 years to our nursery and teach Foundation Stage One (FS1) and Foundation Stage 2 Equivalent (FS2 Equivalent) of the EYFS curriculum to children aged 3 to 5. We also have an After-school Club for children up to 6 years old, and a dance teacher and a football and tennis coach visit us once a week. We run Friday Club from 11 am – 5 pm on Fridays with fun and interactive activities for the children.
